Thank you for choosing FingerOs ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. Because FingerOs is a powerful automation and gesture tool, it requires deep system-level permissions to function.

This Privacy Policy explains exactly what data we access, why we need it, and how we ensure your data stays strictly on your device.

1. The Accessibility Service API (Crucial Disclosure)
FingerOs requires the active use of the Android Accessibility Service API to provide its core functionality.

Why we need this permission:

Gesture Detection: To render invisible overlays on the edges of your screen to detect your custom swipes and touches.

System Navigation: To execute global navigation actions on your behalf, such as Back, Home, Recent Apps, and opening the Notification Shade.

Contextual Profiles: To detect the TYPE_WINDOW_STATE_CHANGED event, allowing FingerOs to know which app is currently in the foreground so it can switch to your app-specific gesture profiles (e.g., Obsidian mode vs. Chrome mode).

Automated Execution (Macros): To perform user-configured automated UI clicks, scrolls, and interactions based on the custom macros you record.

What we DO NOT do with this permission:

We do not use the Accessibility Service to collect, store, or transmit your personal data.

We do not read, log, or transmit your passwords, credit card numbers, or typed messages.

We do not monitor your screen content for analytics, advertising, or profiling purposes.

All accessibility-driven actions are strictly initiated by you (the user) via your configured gestures.

2. Data Collection and Local Storage
FingerOs is designed with a privacy-first, offline-first architecture.

Gesture Profiles and Macros: All of your custom gesture setups, handles, and macro sequences are saved locally in your device's internal storage. We do not upload your configurations to our servers.

No Account Required: You do not need to create an account, provide an email address, or log in to use the core features of FingerOs.

3. Third-Party Services and Billing
To handle premium unlocks (FingerOs Pro / God-Mode), we use secure third-party billing providers:

Google Play Billing: Used to securely process your payments.

RevenueCat: Used to validate your purchase receipts and unlock premium features. RevenueCat only processes anonymous, randomized User IDs and purchase statuses to verify if you own the Pro version. They do not receive your name, email, or any accessibility data.

4. Analytics and Crash Reporting
To keep FingerOs running smoothly, we rely entirely on the opt-in crash reporting natively provided by the Google Play Console (Android Vitals). If the app crashes, Google may provide us with an anonymous stack trace to help fix the bug. We do not use third-party tracking SDKs (like Facebook Pixel or invasive analytics) to track your in-app behavior.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app or Android's developer policies. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
